Host Sponsor CCCU

Kent Festival of Science at CCCU Canterbury Christ Church University is proud to host this year’s Kent Festival of Science on 5 and 6 April at our North Holmes campus in Canterbury.

In addition to hosting the event, Christ Church will also be running a selection of fun and interactive sessions, including generating your own electricity, forensic crime scene investigation, and slime making and bug racing. Canterbury Christ Church University is a dynamic and innovative university, supporting all students to gain an outstanding education and enjoy an excellent student experience.

We have ambitious and exciting plans for the future with a £150 million campus development, which includes a new centre for science, engineering and technology to support curriculum expansion in this area and a stunning new arts building to promote careers in the creative industries. Built in the grounds of the ancient St Augustine’s Abbey and within sight of the world-famous Cathedral, the University’s North Holmes campus in Canterbury is situated at the heart of city life. On campus, you will find great facilities to help you make the most of your visit. You can grab a coffee or snack from Touchdown café or a full meal in the Food Court. We also have a fully stocked campus bookshop where you can browse the latest titles and there are quiet lawned spaces to sit and relax between sessions.
